That would probably be good but I still think in the case of kidneys, live donors should be paid. They could also be paid from the public purse instead of the recipient having to pay. The state would often still save money by reducing the need for dialysis.

@blotzkrog I don't know any English dialect that would spell "epples" but I think both [ɪ'ɹɑn] and ['aɪɹæn] are used in different dialects of English.

"which will help lower demand for organ transplants" Will it? By a meaningful amount? How much of the need is due to lack of healthcare rather than e.g. unavoidable genetic conditions?

"I believe going fully free-market mode is the way to go." I believe (live) kidney donors should be paid from the public purse.

@sketchleaf7698 I'm not convinced. Firstly, countries with free healthcare still have waiting lists for organs so it doesn't seem to have a huge effect. Secondly, I could just as well speculate that better availability of healthcare could just as well increase the demand for transplants if people with issues survive to be placed on the waiting list instead of just dying before that and it could also reduce the supply of donated organs if more potential donors survive strokes, etc. This is, of course, speculation but it's not any less speculative than the notion you presented.
