  7.  @RS-ls7mm  To my knowledge, they are subject to federal income taxes, though if you make less than about $12,000 the tax rate will be zero. If they do business outside the reservation then they're also subject to state taxes.

  11. In that particular case what was salient was that any crimes between Natives have to be judged in state, not federal, courts.

  12. That's still very few countries. Also, e.g. Eritrea has received UN condemnation for taxing non-resident citizens.
