Except the people in the reservations are also US citizens and have all the rights that come with it including the right to live in most other places in the US.

I think they also can vote in whatever committees they might be in and also on the floor in purely procedural matters.

@RS-ls7mm To my knowledge, they are subject to federal income taxes, though if you make less than about $12,000 the tax rate will be zero. If they do business outside the reservation then they're also subject to state taxes.

In that particular case what was salient was that any crimes between Natives have to be judged in state, not federal, courts.

That's still very few countries. Also, e.g. Eritrea has received UN condemnation for taxing non-resident citizens.
