@PhilippBlum "Well, the US Dollar dominance going to only 30 - 40% would be still a huge loss in power." But most of the other reserve currencies like the Euro, Pound Sterling, and Japanese Yen are those of US allies.

@tysoncodes The dollar peg was abandoned in 2005. Yes, the PBOC does still to some degree manage the Yuan exchange rate but it's against a basket of currencies rather than a single currency.
