"Bro if you were a good Muslim you wouldn't have gotten into gambling in the first place." When he was "swearing on the Qur'an" he (presumably) hadn't yet talked about the gambling thing so the story wasn't inconsistent in that sense. What about later? Well, now we know he was lying (while swearing) and that's certainly much worse than gambling.

@MastemaJack "they are allowed to lie about Islam to nonbelievers" From what I've read it only covers concealing one's religion to avoid persecution.

@samshaw1443 That's a rather misleading way to put. The regional Fed branches are nominally privately owned but that doesn't mean as much as one might think. It doesn't offer the owner the normal benefits of ownership. They only get a predetermined (by law) amount of dividends on their shares and they can choose 6 of the 9 directors and each branch. The board or governors, on the other hand, is not private in any way.

@josie8641 I only said that I personally dislike this choice by Coffeezilla. Surely I'm allowed to say that. I can still understand why he makes that choice. You can rarely please everybody. I'm not even saying his videos are on the whole too uncomfortable or anything. I merely said that I would personally like them more without the really sad stuff. I personally wouldn't need to feel the sadness so viscerally to know it's there.

@deez I don't know. I'm not a Muslim. But I'm sure at least doing so while knowingly lying is probably sinful.

@MastemaJack To my knowledge, that means that they are allowed to say they're not Muslim even when they are to avoid persecution. That's not quite the same as "swearing on the Qur'an" in order to portray yourself as a trustworthy person.

@nom6758 I think you didn't quite understand my point. OP (Kyrus Darkblade) wrote: "Bro if you were a good Muslim you wouldn't have gotten into gambling in the first place". However, that's a bit of strange argument against him because at the time he was talking about his gambling addiction he had already been revealed as a liar and I'd imagine that such lying would be worse than gambling in the eyes of Muslims.

@Football__Junkie Then there was a guy named Vincent Kosuga who cornered the onion (and onion futures market) and made millions at the expense of farmers and various others. After that onion futures were banned in the US (which is just stupid).

@aaronmarko "The fact is that we know a lot of these hedge funds are actively manipulating the market." It seems a bit of a bold statement to say that we know that. How precisely do you know that? What's your evidence? Do you know how precisely are the hedge funds manipulating the market? Or do you somehow just know that they are but don't know at all how (which would sound a bit odd)?

10:10 WTF! Is he really recording his answer while driving? Isn't that rather dangerous? Is that even legal?

3:00 I think the word "contagion" is supposed to use contractible diseases as a metaphor and I think it fits better than a nuke.

6:37 I find it funny that they have to say they're not selling their services in the unrecognized LPR & DPR.

15:40 To be fair, I think amphetamine use is probably common among traders. It alone wouldn't sound especially worrying to be as it doesn't turn finance professionals into criminal frauds. The fact that these guys were frauds is probably not related to the amphetamine use.

Could Paradox Interactive accuse these companies (or at least the game company) of infringing on their trademark?

@xanderkai6353 Don't feel sad for them. They're still making decent money by scamming people.

I personally dislike it. Hearing about the difficulties faced by the victims is uncomfortable and I don't think I need it to realize that scams and other bad businesses are bad.

I wonder if now anyone who has lost money following Bitboy's advice could sue him arguing that he was giving financial advice because he's saying so (through his lawyer) in the court documents. Btw, I think that at least in the US calling him "dirtbag" is probably safe because it will likely be deemed an opinion rather than a factual claim that could be true or false.

Strictly speaking, he said that he doesn't want to use the race card everywhere he goes so he can technically achieve that as long as he doesn't use it in at least one place he goes to.

@dis_joint_ed5167 A broken digital clock is right once a day if it's broken in a way that it just displays some valid time which doesn't change. A broken analog clock is right twice a day.

This is pretty hilarious.
