  1.  @garretttobin7451  "who exactly has China invaded?" E.g. Vietnam? OK, that was many decades ago, but it's not like they've never invaded anyone.

  3.  @ilnigromante666  "Because they didn't want to be nuked by the US." Do you mean that China intervened in the Korean War because they didn't want to be nuked by the US or something else? If you mean that then I have to say that doesn't make any sense; the Chinese intervention only increased the likelihood that they might get nuked (though ultimately that didn't happen in any case).

  5.  @WOOKY27  But since Japan is an archipelago and has no land borders with other countries it doesn't need a large land army with lots of personnel. Navy and air force are more heavy on equipment spending than personnel.
