  1. The "genius" was Duke Minks. He was employed as some kind of advisor in the Nauru Phosphate Royalties Trust and the musical was also written by him (along with 3 other people). Basically he spent other people's money to make his own musical. To be fair, this particular investment was really bad but it was a fairly small part of the total funds invested. Sadly, too many of the other investments failed too.

  2. I'd say some white people employed by the Nauru Phosphate Royalties Trust (e.g. Duke Minks) are partially to blame for the bad investments. Of course, I'm only blaming these particular individuals, not any other white people.
