  1. The first example in the video doesn't make a lot of sense. The reason why giving the capitalist's income to the workers doesn't benefit them is because the capitalist doesn't consume anything and just hoards the money taking it out of circulation. That's not terribly realistic. In a more realistic scenario receiving an income transfer does in fact enable higher consumption.
