@madsdavidson4292 I'm guessing it's "banned" in the sense that it wouldn't comply with pedestrian safety regulations and therefore couldn't be driven in the EU, not that someone has made an explicit decision on Cybertruck specifically.

@arandompasserby7940 The shape is an important safety consideration. I would put that ahead of aesthetics in terms of priority.

@Skizzy461 "why exactly are pop-up lights not safe?" I'm just guessing here but one issue that comes to mind is that if you accidentally run over a pedestrian or a cyclist who then falls on the bonnet of your car, you'd want them to fall on flat or rounded features. Pop-up lights that are up are probably a less safe surface to land on and are likely to cause greater injury.
