  5.  @snipergod5216  Yeah. My comment was about where the fighting happened. OP (Jason Blalock) commented that it happened in colonies rather than on French or English soil. I replied that the French would have likely wanted to fight on English soil but couldn't get across the Channel.

My country is known as "Finland" or something like that in most of the world (including your language, I suspect) whereas the native name is "Suomi". Also, the native name of Germany is "Deutchland", the native name of Geogia is "Sakartveli", the native name of Hungary is "Magyarzág", the native name of Greece is "Hellas", the native name of Japan is "Nippon" or "Nihon", the native name of Armenia is "Hayastan", etc.
