  1. There's a big difference between Navalny and Assange. Now, I'm not claiming that Assange should be extradited. You can say that his work is morally good and/or that it's tyrannical for the US to try extend its jurisdiction abroad. However, someone who disagrees with that can still be angry about Navalny's fate without being hypocritical. Assange had clearly broken US laws. Navalny had just revealed corruption and tried to run against Putin neither which are crimes but he was still imprisoned based on trumped up charges. Also, it's at least possible that Navalny was killed by the Russian state in prison which, if true, is pretty bad whereas I think that probably wouldn't happen to Assange in a US prison, though that's not certain.
