"Not having the international supply means that America might be short of petroleum products." That's unlikely. The US has been a net exporter recently, though I think it has since then become a net importer again. However, most of the oil imports of the US come from Canada.

@avae5343 Are you confusing "barrister" and "barista"?
1
@avae5343 Then what does that "barrister at Starbucks" mean?
1
@avae5343 You wrote (and this is a direct copy-paste): "At least he was a barrister. You’re a barrister alright - at Starbucks."
1
@avae5343 That "alright" and a hyphen between "barrister" and "Starbucks" hardly changed the meaning. I only added the essential elements to the earlier quote. But if you insist, then what do you mean by "barrister alright - at Starbucks"?
1
@avae5343 You did write that. It's a direct copy-paste.
1
@avae5343 I was only interested what that particular part meant, not the ones before it.
1
@avae5343 Well, what does the whole comment mean then? I focused on the part that seemed the strangest but if you can't explain that can you explain the whole comment? What do barristers have to do with Starbucks?
1
@avae5343 But I don't think I have refused? I did also quote your whole comment and you called it accurate. In any case, can you explain it? What do barristers and Starbucks have to do with each other?
1
@avae5343 You mean you want me to quote the comment again? Well, it was: "At least he was a barrister. You’re a barrister alright - at Starbucks." Now, what do barristers and Starbucks have to with each other (in this context)?
1
@crpth1 What do you mean? The Russian imports to the US were banned months ago already. As long as the US has both domestic and Canadian supply it's unlikely to face a shortage.
