  1. Intel used some clever tricks on their chips in recent years, they overclocked it to the point it started damaging them. They couldn't reduce their nodes, so their chips used more power and got hotter. 10nm is the best they can do, while AMD chips have 4nm nodes. This makes AMD chips use less energy, run cooler, and faster. AMD chips can be used in smaller computers, which consume less energy as well. Intel is no longer competitive.
