  2. +Masterr Laster The parts are available in Amazon and Ebay for very good prices. I made useless Core2duo computers into Core2 Quad processors with 8 gbs of ram. I bought the hard drives for $5 each for 160 gbs and sold the computers at a huge markup. The base computers were bought for as little as $30 to $60, like Dell Dimension 9200s, Dimension E-520s, E-521s, & others into usable office computers. People who run offices will buy them if you have the connections.

  3. Masterr Laster I bought over 100 hard drives, so if one fails I would replace it. Plus, all the computers I sold were backed up with a hard drive image. All of that was backed up on my main computer with about 4 TBs of space. I backed up the operating system and basic programs. It took about 10 gbs of space for each machine.

  4. +Masterr Laster Refurbishing is more profitable. Sometimes, people throw away computers that don't turn on. Usually, the fix is very inexpensive, the problem is usually a bad capacitor on the motherboard or the power supply. The cost of fixing it is a few capacitors worth about $10. At other times, it could be a bad chip on the motherboard, so the capacitor will constantly go out at the same place. If that s the case, the motherboard is thrown away, and all the other parts are salvaged. The fans, the cpus, the hard drives, the DVD-RW/DVD-ROM, ram, graphics card, and power supply can be salvaged. The other capacitors on the board can be de soldered and salvaged. You can sell the smaller parts, like the cpus, hard drives, dvd-roms/dvd-rws, graphics cards, and other smaller parts can be sold on ebay. Selling entire computers is more tricky, you need to have the connections with firms, because the consumer demand for PCs is way down.
