  1. Horse meat was mixed with beef, because it was a cheaper substitute for beef. It can be seen as a hedge of inflation. Another reason being people who have horses cannot afford to keep them sold them, and they ended up in slaughter houses. People who bought horses as pets and for racing sold their horses to such a fate. Human beings can be so cruel.

  4. I ate dog meat in Fallout 3, so who cares if they eat dogs in some countries. Dog, pigs, goats, sheep, cows, turtles, whales, horses, crabs, clams, etc they are all food. So who cares if some countries eat dogs.

  5. We do eat horse meat in Hungary and Germany, it isn't too bad. Horses raised for human consumption is as much as prime beef steak.
