  1. The gold ETF markets help manipulate the price of gold, because ETFs is a paper market. They can create unlimited amounts of gold ETF, but they cannot create unlimited amounts of physical gold.

  2.  @mal6232  The ETF markets create more gold than the actual supply of gold. It is like printing money, or crypto coins creating more supply of digital coins. Gold ETFs are paper contracts for gold, it will move up or down with the price of gold. You cannot exchange gold ETFs for real gold.
