I am 48 and I live in the US. I would buy a Chinese EV, because it matches my requirements. I just need a vehicle to get to work and back, and do city driving. As for the older folks, you cannot change their ways, they are set on their ways. You cannot teach an old dog new tricks.

@rogerstarkey5390 People use their vehicles for different purposes, for me a EV is fine, but I can't say the same for everyone else.

@canalesjuan356 My father is 81 years old, and he doesn't know how to use a computer. He doesn't know anything about online shopping either. Someone like him would not be interested in a EV.

@Go4Broke247 That is true, so for long distance trips a EV isn't practical. I think EV manufacturers need to make a small motor that uses natural gas to generate electricity. Natural gas is fairly inexpensive, so if the car can operate on the natural gas motor range can be extended.
