  1. The US can get those resources by re industrializing, and this can take decades. Gallium is a byproduct of aluminum production. China produces 41,500,000 tons of aluminum in a year, while the US produces 1,100,000 tons of aluminum per year. As for gallium production 98% of it is produced in China, so China has a monopoly on gallium. China controls 60% of germanium production in the world. China produces 48% of the world's antimony. Other countries that produce significant amounts of antimony are Tajikistan, Burma, and Russia which aren't countries that are friendly to the US. What will the US MIC do? Will they just ask their leaders to print more money to buy more? Buy more stuff that doesn't exist.
