  1. It costs too much to produce anything in the US, wages are too high, property values are too high, and you have too much inflation in the US. TSMC first stated they would make a chip fab in Arizona in 2024, and now they are saying it will be ready in 2028. I don't think they want to build it there. In 2018, Foxconn planned to build a factory in Wisconsin, but in 2021 they abandoned that idea. I think TSMC chip fab in Arizona will encounter the same fate.
