Anyone who knows anything about firearms knows that. 2ndly, you can't easily mount optics on bullpup stocks. The way a bullpup rifle is designed, you have to mount the optics at a higher elevation. This is a problem.

  34. There isn't anything wrong with the QBZ-191. The reason why the PLA designed this rifle was it ease of adding optics, which the previous bullpup design had problems with. The QBZ-191 comes in 3 versions, 10.5", 14.5", and 21.7". This rifle is good for what it was designed to be, an assault rifle. Assault rifles typically have an effective range of 300 to 400 meters which this rifle is capable of with a 14.5" or 21.7" barrel.

Inexpensive Chinese farm machinery is exported to countries in the Global South in Latin America and Africa. They in turn grow food with those agricultural machines and chemical nitrate based fertilizers. The home I live is about $1 million, but I am paying property tax based on what I paid for the home back in 1996 which was about $150k. It goes up 1% per year for the accessed property value when you bought the property. Never the less, other expenses like HOI did go up with inflation. I paid about $1k/year for HOI in 1996, and now I pay $4.5k/year for HOI in 2024. In most states in the US, it isn't like California's property tax laws. Property tax is accessed every single year; therefore, it goes up every single year if the value of the property goes up. Let's say the value of your home was $350k last year, and this year it went up to $450k. You will be paying $4500/year in property tax vs. paying $3500/year last year.

This hampered China's semiconductor industries, because they couldn't compete in price or performance. As a result of these bans, China is building DUV lithography machines to make semiconductor chips, and designing their own chips. Now, China will have a semiconductor industry that is subsidized by the government, and it will have a world class semiconductor industry in 5 to 10 years from now if not sooner.
