Gas mileage for a IC car is about 25 miles/gallon That comes out to ¥1.25/mile $1 = ¥7.12 $0.18/mile EV = ¥0.137/mile IC = ¥1.25/mile Therefore, a IC vehicle costs 9.12 times more to operate compared to a IC vehicle. Your audience may not be good in math, but I am. I just proved you to be a liar.

EVs cost less to maintain, they have less moving parts. You don't need to get an oil change, and there are less chances of parts breaking, because electric motors are robust.
