  1. If the U S embargo's Iran's oil then the price of a barrel of oil would skyrocket. That would affect the U S economy as well, it will cause higher inflation. This would destabilize the U S economy. People think it is bad now with all the crime we are seeing now, just imagine how much worse it can get if inflation gets out of control.
