Let's see, the fatality rate is about 2.5%.
◙ 166,000 dead in August 2020 % of population that got it was 2%
US Population is 328 million people, so 6,560,000 people got Covid-19
Mortality Rate % = (166,000 people / 6,560,000 people) x 100% = 2.5%
◙ If 80% of the US population gets it ( 328 million ) x (80%/100%) = 264.4 million people
Number of deaths = (264.4 million people) x (2.5%/100%)= 6.61 million people would die.
That is a lot of dead people. Plus the virus keeps mutating, and it could get deadlier in the short run. If you do get Covid-19 and survive it, you will have anit-bodies for about 2 months. After 2 months, you can get reinfected.

I wonder how chump will fund his social media platform? He isn't going to get a lot of advertisers on there, any business with half of brain will not advertise on there to tarnish their image. I have a feeling it will be funded by his supporters. He will make advertisements that chump social media is the best website in the whole world, he will say it is better than Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, etc. When people go to his website, it will be slow, it will crash often, it will get hacked almost every single day, and it will suck.

@ilovejobbo I am sure Andrew Yang is the best choice, because he has the best policies. Giving free college to everyone isn't going to solve any problems, because most people don't finish college in the United States. About 38 to 40% of people who enroll in colleges and universities drop out. A lot of college/university graduates are underemployed as well. Higher education isn't for everyone.
Raising the minimum wage will only give corporations more of an incentive to automate lower level jobs away. $1,000/month would help a lot of people. I am not saying it will solve all the problems in our society, but it's a start. It would stress people out less, and it would open new opportunities for people. With the spare time they can afford from this UBI, they can learn about writing, HTML to make websites, learn programming languages, editing videos, e-commerce, about social media, and other useful skills that will help people in the 21st century. A lot of people are trapped in menial jobs, because they don't make enough to do anything else. I am sure this economy could afford to give everyone $1000/month, this economy has enough GDP to do that. It will not lead to runaway inflation, like the critics are saying.

@ilovejobbo In this economy, you have to be an entrepreneur. You cannot just rely on one source of income. These old politicians still have this mindset that you can work one job for 30 years and retire with a gold watch. It doesn't happen anymore in the 21st century. UBI will certainly help a lot of people who need it.
Back in the 1933 when F.D. Roosevelt was elected on the Democratic platform. He gave a lot of stuff to the people, like job programs for unemployed people during the Great Depression, Social Security for old people, and other government programs that helped people directly. People fought for those demands, and they got it. UBI will be the thing people in the 21st century will have to fight for and get.
These damn conservatives get all kinds of help from the government in the form of farm subsidies, getting subsidies for failing industries like coal, and other failing businesses. The wealthiest corporations getting giant tax cuts. These banks that caused the financial crisis of 2008 got bailed out from the government. When regular people want stuff, like a higher minimum wage, UBI, or medicare for all. These fascist punks say stuff like socialist or communist. You know what, those people are hypocrites. If you people want this UBI thing, universal medicare, and other programs that will help people we have to fight for it. If a 3rd party has to be started to get point across, we have to move to that direction. Because the Democrats and Republicans are just too establishment, and they will not move forward on these new progressive ideas.
