  1. Not much is made in the US, and what is made in the US is just mediocre. Made in China is very good these days, look at Chinese EVs, 2d nand chips, televisions, SBCs, smartphone, etc.

  2. In China, you have malls full of people, and it is vibrant and alive. In the USA, malls are dead, and decrepit. It is quite a contrast, yet you have US media touting that the US is the best country on this planet.
