  2. The US wants Canada's natural resources. Canada are the richest resource nation in the world. Dont kid yourselves the US would benefit massively from more trade with Canada. The US is the military and economic super power, but Canada is the resource super power. Together as real free trade partners we're unstoppable. No other alliance could compete.
