  1. Many of these muslim bad apples like the ones who joiend ISIS were actually the former Iraqi military that had fought for Saddam and were completely disbanded by the US when they invaded. Many of them were feeling shame and saw this as a dishonour and so when ISIS came along because of foreign occupation and other facators it pushed them to the edge just like how 100 years ago many ww1 German veterans joined Hitler and the Nazi party, its that humuliating defeat that had pushed them to the point where they want to restore their honour and fight for their lands. Also many in Afghanistan had their mothers or sisters harrased by western soldiers and sometimes had their entire families killed by missiles from western armies pushing them to join the Taliban who were a ''resistance'' against the foreign army and to them the American intervention reminded them of the Soviet invasion which makes sense two superpowers with big tanks and advanced military fighting them to install their version of goverment there. Its not always White and Black there is a grey area regarding this topic where some people because of their beliefs are misquoted and are misjudged for one reason or another put in the same position as say ISIS and because obviously ISIS is bad then that means that this person is bad that means that his family and friends must go against him and that him being tortured in Guantanamo is justifiable. the US is a great country for Americans or migrants but not for me a Palestinian-Syrian Arab. The US are the #1 donors to Israel and also they have bombed and military intervened alot in Syria. When is enough?
