  11. 4:45, yo Mr. Z as a Levantine Arab Muslim I would like to add something here. The conflict in the religious sense has little to do with the schools of thought. Within sunnism or Ahlu Al-bayt or just Islam these different schools of thought all agree on the same Aqeedah as in Islamic creed. They all believe in the same essentials that being that Allah swt or god is one and has non to be associated with him, Prophet mohammed pbuh is the last prophet, The first caliphs and all the other Sahaba (Companions of the prophet pbuh) are good and important people that represent what a Muslim should be. We all agree that Jesus is indeed christ and will be in the second coming, Pilgrimage should be made to Mekkah for instance, Prayer is conducted 5 times a day, etc. The only difference is within the small stuff like say inheritance like which family member has more rights over the inheritance of the deceased or how much should each person inherit in X or Y circumstance or say about other simple stuff like our beards now its agreed that completely shaving your beard is haram among most schools of thought then when it comes to trimming it there is also a split in terms of which school of though says its haram as in forbidden or just Makrooh as in Discouraged but overall they are all Ahlu Al Bayt wal Jamah (The people of the house and the community) Aka sunnis and they believe in the same core creed of Islam and they arent secterians. However the Secterians here are the Shias or Quranists or Ibadis or The Ahmadiya, Since they have a different creed since the creed is not just about believing in Allah and in the last messenger of allah prophet mohammed pbuh. Sure they agree on these things however the Shias for instance do Pilgrimage to Karbala now Pilgrimage is a important thing however its restricted to Mekkah but they do it to Karbala is the honour of Husayns martyrdom not for god, the Quranists completely or partially deny the Ahadith as in the documented works and saying of the prophet pbuh which contextualize the quran and give more specific orders or life lessons and these Hadeeths are essential to Islamic creed. So the different schools of though are all Muslims with varying say opinions or interpretations of things mostly minor things since the creed is all but the same and there is never or generally rare conflict between different school of thought since we all believe the same thing since we arent secterians but just people with different say opinions or POVs within the same faith. While the Secterians that I mentioned earlier they are at best heretics or misguided muslims and at worst they are kuffar disbelievers depending on each individual and each denomination or school of thought within these beliefs. But all in all schools of thought may influence say culture and all but it never causes conflict because we are still muslims who believe in the same creed also the schools of thought are not something that is neccesary as you dont have to associate yourself with any of them and when picking you should see which one is the most accurate however even then it doesent really matter because the faith is one and the same and you could go to any Imam or sheikh to solve any of your issues regardless of their school of thought but not their creed. In conclusion as a Palestinian-Syrian though I may hate Israel I also hate Iran, Hzbollah and the Syrian regime especially the Syrian regime who did horrible stuff to some of my far relatives.
