Well as a 16 year old, even though I feel better than ever before i have personally never struggled in formulating friendships that could be because I am arab and we have a more collectivist culture, since 99% of my friends are arab but regardless I just dont see the struggle with it. I personally have a stutter yet I can easily initiate conversation with literally anyone, Even though I am a Muslim I once visited a church and had a long discussion with a catholic priest when I was travelling, I would also meet people even when doin the most basic of activities. How can I have a stutter and not be socially akward? It must be culture, I mean in my culture there is some individualism but the family is important and so is helping others. My father would take me to see some elites as in people who are mega rich or are part of the ruling class where I live, they are like all old or middle aged men I would talk to them like its nothing man, I literally befriend people in the Bus. I dont know what the struggle is for westerners, you people are really nice and polite I dont see why you would be shy or akward enough where you can talk to people, its not even about devices I grew up with screens your just making excuses its your fault guys.
