  1. I see lots of designs for flying cars that are beautifully engineered. The basic problem is batteries. Batteries as they currently exist simply don’t have a high enough energy to weight ratio so a flying whatever cannot sustain flight for very long. Until this problem is solved flying cars are still in “The Jetsons” phase.
