  2. Exactly. I don't know where their stats come from. Raising the minimum wage over 10 years does nothing when cost of living rises every month. When gas jumps 5 bucks a tank in a month,, food prices rise in weekly spurts. Utility bills go up a few cents every time we turn around. So, that few cents a year increase doesn't even keep up. See, the thing is, no body that makes the laws, nor the ones that report the news, live like the people they report to or make laws for. You sure can't say what's economically fair for the low wage workers, until you walk in their shoes. And those lawmakers and news readers, probably never have.
