@amorg319 I agree totally in cases of unwanted sex, without question.
My point is, there are ways to make the need for an abortion to as much a minimum as possible. So that these ney sayers wouldn't have as much to bitch about. Protection, education, using good judgement is better than people making excuses on either side.
I believe, it is wayyyy more the womans right to make the final decision. But then at a certain point in pregnancy, we are talking about a life. An ant, is alive. Yet almost invisible to most people. We can call the form, in a woman when pregnant any, biological name. In order to dumb down the severity of aborting it.
When is a " zygote", a baby? That's the end question.
But I will tell you one damn thing. These aholes that want to make a woman carry an unwanted baby to term. Better damn be ready to pay that woman. Pay for the care. Pay for everything involved in the process. And pay her a great price for the emotional and whatever care she'll need during and after delivery.
It's like veterans. These people so bent on having wars, police actions and military might. Better keep that vet healthy and happy during and make sure he or she finds work and civilian livelihood after leaving the service.
We're supposed to be so well developed in America. Yet our standards for human care, are insanely inadequate. Unless you have big bucks.

@slyons-uf3cy I'm definitely not for forcing a woman to carry an unwanted pregnancy. I am for being responsible. Though I know accidents happen. I don't appreciate using abortion as birth control, because I think many abortion clinics and doctors use it to get rich for one and it cheapens or takes financial advantage of the real reason legalizing abortion up to a certain time, was fought for.
In other words. I don't think many of the abortion clinics, docs, etc, Are for womens rights, as much as they're for their lucrative business. And when abortion is covered under insurance. I'm sure business is good.
You're so right when you said, scientifically, there are different views about when the zygote becomes ...a viable life? But I think we need to be less...flippant?, to it's rights as well. Abortion shouldn't be, birth control. It should be a last resort. And I ve watched womens talk shows, and some turn it into a joke.
Better early education on the responsibility of sex is a must. And definite emphasis on responsible sex should be a prerequisite in school and parenting. Both girls and boys.
