The Democrats aren't wimping out,,,they just don't want 8th grade style fist fights on issues. Maybe their response isn't enough and that's why the Republicans continue to play games. Maybe it's the bullies against the nerds. Brawn against brains. Not sure. But I know this. We saw what happens when you jump, without a net of reassurance. With the impeachment trial. You can win against a stacked deck. The Republicans play outside the law and bend the law to their benefit. The Democrats don't go that way. They want to win with Truth, Justice, and the American way.

@amberleeannalee1999 I agree it seems Dems aren't playing the game the Republicans want. But a shouting match isn't the answer. The Dems have spines, but they are using the brain that seats atop it to get the truth out. The problem with our country is voting. When only 60 or less percent of us vote, that's just not right. Voting needs to be mandatory. By write in,or in person. There's no reason to not vote. Once you're 18 ,you should be on the list. Even if they have to pay people 5 bucks each. Vote and lunch is on the tax payers. I know. Not cool. But when 40 to 50 percent of people don't feel obligated to do their civic duty? Got to be something for incentive. Make it simple, mandatory,and a civic responsibility. We've basically become a sociaty of selfish individuals. Whats in it for me. Then we bitch when a slug like Trump gets elected. We allow people like Moscow Mitch, to make up rules, as he sees fit. So he gets reelected over and over. We need to realize our voting power.

@LDOPAdecarboxylase Sure,, I agree. And Pelosi has proven she won't stand for being bullied. But she's also smart enough to know that Punch and Judy, gets them nowhere. And being underhanded or crooked, is a definite no-no. Which when you think about it,is the real way Republican s are getting their way. When they bully,, they don't win,, they just show their true colors. Bullies eventually fall, because most pacifist will push back when it counts. At least that's my experience.
