He'll still have been impeached, but because it was a lopsided impeachment, they will always claim bias. Which it does appear so, because not one republican came across to stand up against the SOB. If 4 Republicans voted for witnesses,,, 4! We could possibly swayed more to vote to dump Trump. Cept for like three dem turncoats that must be repubes in dem clothing. So true. Just like a gang that protect the boss no matter what. Even a cult has a few discontents. There's no way he has 100% approval. Just not possible. Even a few dems voted against impeachment. His gang are 100%. Not how life works in reality. Look at the impeachment investigation. Republican witnesses testified to his guilt. That shows he does not have complete control or support. And Kelley Ann was probably decent looking 30 years ago. And we don't know what kind of Republican George was before Trump. As many have said. @daninnaples Right. This is all a big joke. Another ploy to drop the reality and seriousness of the case. The next time you or a member of your family has a serious circumstance in your life, let us know how you feel if the defense makes light of it and says, oh, it's not really a crime, they only ran over his dog or cat. Animals get hit all the time, what's another, just because he happens to love his pet. It's the ways of defense, to make the crime seem less important. But even though, it's the Job! of a jury, to take every case seriously and listen to the evidence. Not play tidily winks while the trial is in session. You can bet your ass they didn't behave like this when they were railroading Clinton.

@daninnaples You obviously did not listen or watch the hearings when witnesses were called and rump was invited to testify, but not only did he lie and say,, I may testify, and made many comments saying he'd be glad to face his accusers. Alas, he lied again. Because just like with Mueller, he said, he had no problem testifying,, but never did. Then on top of that, forbid his people not to testify either. How do you get the witnesses, if the one who committed the crime, tells them they can't? If you don't see, or want to see that, then you're not being honest either.

When you swear an oath, that you will be a neutral, unbiased juror, but you sit and do crossword puzzles, run off every 10 minutes to check your phone, probably to see if you've gotten a happy tweet, from orange Julius, and doze off. That's not quite being honest, fair and unbiased. In a court room, they interview jurors, to check for bias. If they show bias, or the inability to be fair,, they don't get to be jurors. Here there's no choice. The democrats have proven they can be unbiased, some have voted not to impeach or for other punishment. 100 %of Republicans repeat the exact same thing. That shows they're not being fair but are bought off.

We know damn well they watched the hearings and listened to the testimonies. This whole scheme they have is to make light of the testimonies, the witnesses and at the beginning, the crime itself. We know they sit in their little click meetings and run through the game plans. Brainwash all the players to repeat the same line, the same marching order. The house reps were trying to make a point to any that would listen,,, this is serious! Not a joke. He will do anything to stay in the office and outta jail. And if he's not made to be at least responsible for doing what he did,,, the pattern will just keep on and even get worse. I'm actually beginning to think this is truly a deeper plan to change our government to a kingship or a monarchy. The Republicans would have even more power. And that process would go on forever. We really must start voting with more thought. If a puppet like Trump can get elected, anything is possible. We gotta learn from this.

He did it, no matter what one denies it. That is the crime! The other is obstruction, by telling the main hands on officials to say nothing and to not testify. That's obstruction.
