  7. As many times as I watched his speech on the 6th, I cannot remember hearing or seeing him say peacefully. Maybe the speech was always edited and I never saw the whole speech. But I do know for a fact, that he sat for hours, watching the event on TV and did absolutely nothing to stop, curb or ask, the people to stop. Plus, we know he was personally involved in the planning of the happening. Just as Nixon did not personally break into the Dem campaign offices. He did plan the happening. Trump knew exactly what was going to happen on Jan 6 th, because he was totally in on the planning. That, is what he's being charged with. Including the phoney electors, scheme. Come on people, he's guilty as hell. Quit trying to absolve him. It's etched in stone, his guilt.

  11. True Karen, but you said it yourself. Being he's running for president, they couldn't because it would be unfair to his campaign. But I agree, he's getting treatment almost no other defendant would get. And that restriction he gave is wasted anyway. How the hell are they going to monitor that? We all know trump can't be silent. Trust me Karen, many of us were and are pissed about the special treatment this SOB gets.

  15. My brother lives in Surprise. He's not into politics, so I can't ask him much. But from what I've seen of her, she's a, Look at me, politician. I live in Florida, so I can't knock any other states government, ours is sick enough. Every state needs government that helps the majority of the state. And generally that's the little guy and gal.

We built custom homes and every day I got an ear full of talk radio. And you know who were the loudest of the Republicans? The same ones we have today. Sean Hannitty had a show with Alan Colmes. Colmes was the Dem side and obviously Hannitty was the conservative. And guess who was a special guest constantly? Loud mouth bleached blonde, Kellyann Conway. And she was exactly how she is now. And then of course, we had little loud Rush Limo. The big mouth that proved, if you tell a lie just a certain way, you can call it the truth, and many believe you. So yes, this has been around for decades. Unfortunately.

  28. I was only in for 6 years and I agree with your comment 100%, but,, unfortunately, just as in civilian society, the military is emotionally and mentally. Even in the military, you're told to use your judgement . Follow orders, but when those orders are,, insane,speak up. Plus, there are always people in the military that are wack. It's not a perfect org. And when those people leave the service, they sometimes get worse,not better. Military or not, we're just humans, with flaws.

People pay taxes to help maintain government and a multitude of other things. It doesn't make them ours. Paying taxes doesn't mean everything the tax dollars do belong to those who pay them.

Not that that has anything to do with the state majority politically. My wife is from Kansas, and they're supposed to be very conservative. But they kinda went blue this past election, so nothing is etched in stone.

His backing isn't as huge as he believes, but as usual, a slight lead is just enough to burrow his way through the rules. There are many here that stand up to his behaviors, but it seems like not enough. Voters can only do so much. I ve heard it's his wife is the head of the puppet, but it seems only a republican campaign debate will bring his secrets out in the open. But you know whats strange. As much as he talks about keeping Florida pure from immigrants. Our neighborhood has grown of Mexican people by id say 30%. Just in the last 2 years I've seen 6 houses in our neighborhood become Mexican access points. Not just family households but staging homes where 10 or more people live in a three bedroom house. So where is his regulation of Florida immigration? I know he's a very authoritarian person. And I don't want him for president or even governor. But I wonder about his power being overwhelming. It seems if Disney was able to beat Desantrump at his own game. Maybe he's not as smart as he thinks. He's just more sneaky. Florida is only 1 state. Even if he makes it in his own image, that won't work as a nation. The people eventually won't stand for it. And Desantrump can't live forever in a vacuum. There is about 47% of people here not thrilled with dear Ron. We only need to show enough others to stand up to dump Desantrump. Maybe if trump gets his comeuppance, it'll shove Desantrump out in the open. Even Hitler was finally defeated. And he was way more in power than Desantrump. Trump made it thru a single term. But now about 73% of citizens know he's no good. Don't worry though Lee, we're not closing our eyes to dear Ron. And as long as there is media, the facts will come out.

But the US also does a load of benevolent acts in the world, that are probably far higher than many other countries. It's no doubt a balancing act of kindness and selfishness. But I dare say we have a monopoly on that front. Self servence is everywhere. I'd say the, Me first, movement isn't new in the US. I just hope things get better soon all over the world. We certainly don't need a Putin in every leadership pot.
