The problem with the forefathers decision to make the supreme Court be the saviors of the US experiment, is the fact that they gave the right of placing Justices to the president at the time. And appoved by the lopsided Senate. Rather than elected by the people. With the people being able to unvote them. When they show inability to do their JOBS, the way they are supposed to.

That's the bottom line. Voting! Getting enough Dem lawmakers to give enough support to making permanent changes. Key word... permanent. Adding Justices is fine. Until Republicans gain power again and add more. Where does it stop? 400 Supreme Court Justices? Face it. McConnell was the enforcer for years. And during his hayday, his backers used him thoroughly. And ole triple chin, gladly supposedly legally, did their bidding.

It's pretty obvious now that politico showed us how the Justices are getting all these, not so little, fringe benefits, for some potential leaning their way, in a particular judgement. Now, what do we do about it?
