What I still find crazy is, why when doofus was making his speech on Jan 6 th and they witnessed people with weapons all over the place, did no-one anticipate anything at all, and personally place hundreds of police, NG units, or something on standby if not right there?

@old_grey_cat Personally, I don't remember that question every discussed and answered with any assuredness. Unless I missed something of course. I've been asking about it since it happened. And haven't heard a sure answer. Only trump saying, " It was Pelosi s choice about security". But was it? Obviously once it started, we all knew it was happening. Whose responsibility was it to send in overwhelming support? Trump? The police chief? Remember the phone calls Pelosi and Schumer had made to someone in the white house or others? Telling them to send help, and getting in arguments about who's responsible for making the decision to send help? If this was a movie, they'd have had Marines dispatched in minutes. But when it happens in real life, people are literally sitting there asking," what do we do now?". Insane.
