Well sure. There are many reporters in Ukraine and even other surrounding countries that are historians. Keeping a total watch on the goings on there.

@Mark4Jesus You're very much right that its " harder", but using jan 6th as just a slight example, it ain't impossible. And truthfully, all it takes to make a conspiracy, is 2 people. And in an enormous government or even a country, 2 people could easily conspire. As long as they were the least bit smart about it. Sure, a conspiracy theory, is just some people or one person, having a theory that others are, conspiring, or have conspired. People who use the words, conspiracy theory, as a put down, are probably the people who are or have conspired, and don't want anyone to suspect them. So they make it seem like the phrase is a bad thing. At least that's my opinion. And I don't even, conspire with anyone to think about it.☺️

@Mark4Jesus That's certainly true. But like American history, we find slight prejudices in accuracy depending on the historian. It seems, like with social media, facts depend on the individual. I've learned that as time goes on history changes. Political figures become less noble. Reasons for buffalo removal become notorious. And many other discrepancies I don't even know about. I mean hell, do we truly know who killed the Kennedys and why? Not to my satisfaction. We always put it down to, crazy conspiracy. It was 1 man. Anyway. Though you're so right. Very interesting 🤔. Much of her description was,,," so I think this is why". Her opinion.

@Mark4Jesus So true. And you have plenty of company in that thinking. Unfortunately, governments are made up of fallible human beings. Not always the above reproach, thinking, considerate, unbiased wonderlings , we hoped they'd be. And Russia has always been... like the Klingons of the not so modern age. Always gotta be right. Always the conqueror, never the conquered. Putin wants it to stay that way. But not many governments want to be patsies. No country does. So they lie, maybe cheat. Propagandise. Whatever, to be at least even, with everyone else. No government is exempt from that either. I think like this woman said though. Even if Putin were to die tomorrow. The next replacement may not be any better. Just different. It's like trump. We all pin almost everything he did as the cause of Republicans being the way they are about many things. But even before trump the republican majority in the Senate under McConnell were not just thorns in the side of democracy, but arrows. Russia will probably never become the model country of reason and peace on earth. Unless things change there. But we here should watch what we boast. When elections produce this new Congress. With election deniers running the show. And praising people like Putin and Kim Jong -un. For being tuff and emulating them? We're not batting a thousand either.

@johngodley256 Something is seriously wrong with these people. Boasting, America First. Then praising Putin and Russia. Can you say, mentally ill? And these are people other people elected to speak on their behalf. Really tells you something about human judgement.

If she's right, seems maybe we've been blaming Putin alone for ideals that are generated by his bosses. We've been under the impression everything is created by Putin and his personal war against Ukraine and the west. When in fact, it's like many governments, controlled by a money bank of people wanting power.

It makes me wonder if Russia is using either mercenaries or that group they said they were sending that are not true Russian military. It's hard to believe the supposed million man army being short true troops. Unless Russia lied about having such a huge military. So where are they? Either Putin or his generals is doing a trickle troop tactic or they don't have the huge army they claim. How does an army from a country 5 times the size of Ukraine, have so few troops? Curious.
