  1. He's done this many times. That's why people thought he was on drugs of some kind. When he's up, he doesn't make as many mistakes, but when he's on the down slide he misreads the monitor, slurs words etc. That's not the worst thing in my opinion. Biden makes mistakes, many older and even not so old people do that. It's the crap he says like with Hannitty, that are despicable in my mind. The outright lies are the tell. Anyway, the rallies are bad enough without picking up on misspeaks. We all can't be perfect speakers like Obama and Bill Clinton. But you gotta remember age.
