I was only in for 6 years and I agree with your comment 100%, but,, unfortunately, just as in civilian society, the military is emotionally and mentally. Even in the military, you're told to use your judgement . Follow orders, but when those orders are,, insane,speak up. Plus, there are always people in the military that are wack. It's not a perfect org. And when those people leave the service, they sometimes get worse,not better. Military or not, we're just humans, with flaws.

@sarge420 But how do you judge who's a traitor? Plus it's not our right to not only judge a traitor, or punish one. It's up to the law.

That's exactly how it was for trump. Many thought he'd see the greatness of the presidency and become presidential, including me. It didn't happen. He just played himself as he's always been but magnified it. This is what I and many others see in Ron Desantrump. His horrific behavior will only get worse.

@jusone4271 Oh for sure. I'm just reluctant to agree with the, " eliminate them", mentality. Not because I think what the Jan 6 th attackers did was acceptable but, the judgement as to who, you accept as traitors. Remember, there were military personnel involved in the attack. So people said Hillary is a traitor. Joe Biden is a traitor. This is why I don't just agree with just taking people out. Not without 100% evidence of the claim. The country was created by revolution. But it was a controlled, justified revolution . Not vigilante, lawless, wild west, best man with the gun rule. Provoked by people with only their interests in mind.

@wisconsinfarmer4742 Sorry, but I guess the old saying, Once a scumbag, always a scumbag, holds true. You can take the man out of the gutter, but you can't take the gutter out of the man. His father was probably no better. But he stayed out of the limelight. Like a good little thug should. Little Don has something to prove. And can't get enough limelight. And he's taught his whole family to be the same way.

@wisconsinfarmer4742 I so agree. I always use the PT Barnum phrase in regards to trump supporters. But come on, the phrase, Fool me once, can't just keep on happening. But it sure seems too. But that's how, confidence men, and cult leaders work. Taking advantage of people looking for something. I believe even in prison he'll make money. Not from rich contributors, but the average mid to lower income Americans who'll never see the truth. Sad, actually.

Personally I think the ex military and military who chose to attack the capital are sick turds You heard the guy say, I hope they let us do our thing. He was just itchen to shoot into the defenders. The police, maybe even national guard. Whomever tried to defend the capital, they were just hoping to shoot. I'm sorry but that's just sick.
