  29.  @americafirst7338  Sorry my friend but sounds like a bit of overkill on your wife's part. I do agree the programs get abused. When I got outta the service in '74, there was a kinda job sbortage and for about 8 months i was on unemployment. I have a wife and two kids at that time and we scrounged to make ends meet. Finally i appied for food stamps, in hopes of getting some help with food at least. My unemployment check was too high to get totally free. So i gave a hundred a month for 200 in stamps. During that time, i did see people driving newer cars than me,,with gold jewelery and pretty well dressed and getting more allotment than me. And they probably lived in section 8 housing and whatever else they could get. So u can see the irony of that scenario. Also my point that, there are regulations that are supposed to control abuse. It's not just throwing out tax dollars to lazy jerks that don't wanna work and sponge off tax payers. But u know,,when i see what just happened with tax breaks and in a sense,,hand outs to millionaires,,,id rather see some poor family get a help, than some rich asshole that doesn't want to pay his share of taxes. And sits on his off shore bank accounts and lives in his million dollar house,, waiting to board his private jet to head for the golf course in Florida, or his golf course in Louisiana etc. Boasting that his not paying taxes is being a smart businessman. Id say that's costing us millions too. When u consider he's only one of hundreds of rich fucks that do the same damn thing. Sorry bout my language, but it's a dang aggravating subject.

  50.  @johnparks6936  This is,,,the reason for totally unbiased judge's. For everything you said. Most of us say unbiased, in reference to political or personal view. When Barr stepped in to his position, he swore up down and sideways, that he would go strictly by the Constitution and the law. Yet now when asked questions about a case, he says,,well, I don't know what that law is, and then adjusts every thing to protect agent orange. That may fly with an appointed figure, that will go or stay at the will of the next prez. But a supreme court justice is set for life, which seems ridiculous to me. Unless the founders figured, the constitution doesn't change so a judge here today will still know the constitution, tomorrow. Another thing that makes it unfair is, the deck is stacked. The Republicans are the Senate majority . Trump's an idiot. But an idiot that has an agenda. Get rid of the ACA. This judge has professed against abortion, and I believe the ACA. Talk about a predetermined vote. No way is that going by the law. And the election. If for some reason the election gets thrown in front of the court,, almost seems a sure thing, huh. The only thing that will determine her honesty will be her sense of right and wrong. And her sense of integrity too. Id hope, assignment to the highest court in the land would affect you in a positive way. That u have been chosen to,do the, right thing. When all the cronies that put you in,,,looking for a favor later, will get a big surprise, when the time comes.
