I love the young folks ideas, but don't understand the ways to pay for them, practically. Yang has great points as do mayor Pete and other newbies, but without a full breakdown of the cost and how it actually works, it's hard for us undecided to step towards the young untested candidates. Especially is we have the same senate we do now.

@aljoanna What I don't understand is. If Yang and the others had all these great ideas, why haven't any been put into a say, state program or something small as a test? Is it the idea's are just not practical on a large scale or no one wants to try it? Why aren't people like Yang and others on committees, or boards in government? Something to help our super f, d up economy or inflation, something! Obviously Obama did, and that's why we turned around. But now, troubled Trump has numbnuts and assheads as advisors. We just need to get Trump out this year and the Senate change hands, then use these wonderful ideas to get the countries 90% going again. That's it. The dems slogan will be, Make America's 90%,great again.

@viklatu7806 Well sure. What average Josephine, couldn't use a thou a month? Some people live on that full time. And less. I mean that's no difference from raising Income. Cept I'm assuming it's tax exempt? I read some of the theory and does seem there are some requirements? It's supposed to be for every person. Does that mean for a family of 4,,all over 18,,, you get 4 thou a month? And so on. It's all gonna be based on the source money coming in too. Seems like there could be a good way for there to develop abuse in the system. No offense, just questions.

@signalfire6 Seems he has sincere followers. I have nothing against him. He seems centrist enough where he not gonna be labeled a socialist. Trump and the Republicans are having a field day with the socialist talk and Sanders. But what don't they pick on. Right now I'm rooting for a sure thing and the problem is, after '16, polls don't mean so much to me. I sure won't vote against him for any reason. I still believe that why Hillary lost. Stupid write in votes or just leaving it blank. Ridiculous. I think he'd be fine though.

@viklatu7806 Oh sure. I'm semi retired and barely make 30 thou a year with ss. An extra 12000 a year would be super wonderful. But a voter should not be paid for. If Sanders get the nomination because he's giving away free college, that shouldn't be a reason to vote for someone. That's all I'm saying.

@viklatu7806 That's really not my point. The money, is not free. It has to have been earned by someone,, working a job to pay a tax that pays for it to be used for everything the government does. Including handing it out to the needy. Same with free college. The college is not free. Teachers, get paid to teach and the buildings aren't free to build and maintain. This is my point. The structure of society took years to get to the screwed up stage it is now. It won't get cured overnight do to a president. The US is still an infant, in the world of turnover. Don't you think every form of fairness to all has been,, open for discussion? I read that there are so many countries using the system Yang speaks too. Why if we're so behind the times here do so many people what to come here? Fair decent pay for jobs is the answer. Fair taxes is the answer. Help for the seniors that have worked all their adult lives, is the answer. Good medical care for anyone asking for it is the answer. If we get those things and obviously a few more that are needed,, we wouldn't need free cash or free to ALL health care. The problem is insurance companies have such a strangle hold on gov with money pay offs, tax dollars are diverted from, better pay, help for seniors, etc. And especially giving tax cuts to the already Wealthy. Just remember,, the money you're expecting, is not just free money sitting around,,, someone earned it to pay taxes for it.

@aljoanna Unfortunately they're out there. And if king Trump says fire, " doubtful but not impossible", some probably would. But those nuts were out there before Trump came to be. But he's given them an excuse. Trump is like a 3 ft tall bully. As long as he has his henchmen in his corner,,, he is tuff. By himself he's a blowhard with 0 spine.
