  1. I grew up in Florida in the late 50s and 60s and on. We had no ac growing up. No ceiling fans, nothing. Our dad was raised during the depression and he lived in the back of a pickup truck with his dad and sister. So luxury for him was non existent. And we were raised sweating to sleep and playing in the heat the rest of the time. My dad was a carpenter. So he built our house. No ac no ceiling fans. I'm sure the heat is different from Az. But we always hear, it's a dry heat. I guess my point is, how the hell did we ever live, before AC? But we did. Now, people go from their ac homes to ac cars to ac jobs. Except for people who work outside for a living. Are people just bit too spoiled? Except for the poor of course. 🙄
