 @LiberalinOregon Different era. When presidents were responsible. Trump has opened up a whole new set of precedents. Because he never claims responsibility for anything negative.

The old adage that, until it affects you personally, you're oblivious to it. Kinda holds true here. Plus, when you look at the people who would vote for trump or any authoritarian leader, it's because they're like an authoritarian type individual themselves. But there again, if trump or another authoritarian ruler, came after those people, then maybe finally they'd see the light. This is why when politicians say, we're for law and order. They mean unless something they've done, is unlawful in any way. But I know you know exactly what I mean.

@mshahnazi7636 I don't think it's education, necessarily. We cannot have 72 million dolts in the US. You don't have to follow history, or be a college grad, to have misvalued ideals. Or to be brainwashed. But I'm sure we have our fair share.

Someone made the point that, if the supreme Court says yes, trump has protection from prosecutions, then every president from here on is free from prosecution . So every future president can do anything they want and never be touched by the law. What's next? Senators, Representatives, any government workers? Or does just the president get to be a criminal and never be held accountable?

As for Giulianis monetary obligation, he can never pay them back for all the multitude of hate calls, mail and other horrible treatment they received. The money will give them a better, more wealthy lifestyle. But I too, seriously doubt they'll ever see the full 148 million. But we can bet their lawyers will see a good chunk of whatever they get. Unless they're doing it strictly for the justice of it.
