  1. The problem with a temporary speaker is,, every decision will be tainted by the animosity in the Republicon group. They will always have the undecided feelings bouncing around in their heads. So I still feel they will never allow the things Dems put forth. I still see gridlock even with a " working", house.

  2. I'm still skeptical of the propaganda to the viciousness of Hamas towards their hostages and even in their initial attack. Israel government has not the best track record of fair treatment of the Palestinians and their right to exist as a free people. The two hostages released were in decent, unharmed condition. The way this congressmen talks, Hamas are nothing but animals without conscience or feelings at all. It's difficult to believe the Palestinians alignment with Hamas without feeling the need to have someone fight on their behalf. Obviously Jewish people here are going to stand by Israel no matter what. And there are many,many Jewish people here with political influence. Think about it. It was a Palestinian boy that was killed, here! Here in the United States! Im not at all, unsympathetic of the Israeli people. But there are extremists on both sides always. And if those extremists have power in leadership, that's going to be the law of the land. Because leaders make the rules, despite what the average people want. And I see that as a huge percentage of the problem in the middle east. Exactly the way we have it right here in America.
