  1. I was born in Germany in 52, and came here in the US in 56. My mom died 2 years ago, but she was 18 when I was born. She used to say Hitler was good for the morale of Germans in that time too. Just like what trump seems to mean for many Americans. But we certainly see the possibilities of a leader with either terrible advisors or their own authoritarian ideals. I still have family in Munich, that I've never seen since we left. But we weren't very much attached to mine and my mothers roots,as my adopted father's. Within the last several years, I've wished i had some contact with my cousins, aunts or uncles. We never had money for overseas trips, so I never have seen my German side of the family. But it does sound like things got better there. As for our government... craziness. I too hope they get their stuff together. Because seems even though we supposedly have power thru our vote. Most politicians know that they have certain powers to make it so only a certain type of person gets elected. So our power to elect someone best suited to be our voices, doesn't always end up being what we voted for.

  2. These people are so hungry to keep this form of income, doing almost nothing, must be the answer. They don't want to go back to job hunting with 0 qualifications. When your resume consists of, I was a congressman. Probably says, I did nothing for 6 years or more.
