Yes, it seems hard to picture a normal Republican party for a long damn time. Because whether or not we saw it, Mitch McConnell was as bad as trump, when it comes to stopping democracy. I'll bet we can go back to the latter 90s and through Ws. Administration and even Obamas terms. McConnell was a huge player in blocking any programs or benefits to working class Americans. Then came djt. And between him and McConnell, there was a constant fight for anything that helped the average American. I don't care about court abuse. Like you said it can't be much more abused, than it is right now. It honestly needs to be dismantled and rebuilt.
