  1. Because children are a blank slate. Prejudice, hate, goodness ,etc, are learned. Thinking people try to allow their children to,,,, see all sides. Allow them to think for themselves and ask questions without fear of backlash . Thing is, it doesn't matter. There are many so called, " thinking people", that still believe people like Trump, though disgusting, are the right way to be. With or without the disgusting things he does. It's a mental thing that escapes reasoning.
