A gag order is just like an order of protection for a spouse, child or a person going to testify in a trial etc. Judge's have to sign off on any police action. search warrant, restraining orders,etc. And failing to abide can surely be punished by jail time.

Hey, Aren't trumps lawyers responsible for making sure trump UNDERSTANDS, his order to desist? Maybe the lawyers should go to jail, for not keeping trump gagged. I'll bet that would curb his big mouth. Considering he's probably running out of lawyers who'll take him on as a client.
