@EdwardM-t8p Yes in my book he gets a damn huge % as well. But there are others that follow a close second, third,forth and so on. But sure as hell, because of him we lost 2 supreme Court picks and Obama could have gotten so much more done. And his 2 way street with trump! Omg.

It goes further back than that. Mitch McConnell, has been dark moneys stooge, since he became Republican Senate majority leader. He's been to the Republicans, like Nancy Pelosi was to the Dems. A strong influence on the decisions the Senate and House make. McConnell used trump to make sure Republicans would not only get their tax cuts but supreme Court justices as well. You could see it because McConnell pushed back against anything his bosses didn't approve of. The wall. Change to Obama Care. Trump seriously wanted to have a, trump care. And dump anything Obama did . He hated Obama for making fun of him at an annual Media awards thing. And that he lost the primary to run against Obama. That may be the prejudice that trump feels against non whites? I don't know. But I do know there's a hate there from trump. Remember, trump ran for president along with John McCain. And McCain got the nod and ran against Obama. That probably always pissed trump off. And we know trump and vengeance.

@BoBo-p1s Well though I don't think it was 90 million. I do think, via reports, that between 7 and 12 million sat out voting. But I think it was on both sides. But records show that about 9 million people that voted for Joe Biden in 2020, didn't vote in '24. So yes, I do blame voters who sat back in protest. Aholes? Damn straight.

@BennilocoLoves Yes, I agree with you on that. Half these podcasters never even read the comments. So we're just speaking to each other. But, I guess that's better than nothing. If you make 1 person, change their mind, see something they didn't before. Over and over. It's helped.

@gypsy5445 I believe it was more trying to make the government behave like professionals. Not barroom brawlers. Their jobs are being diplomats. Not rock um sock um robots. Dealing with facts. Not pushing propaganda or lies. And Garland was a true, by the book constitutionalist. Going by the legal aspects of the job of the AG. Not the president's private prosecutor. He wasn't going to follow barrs lead. We may never know the reasoning as to why he seemed to slow walk the cases against trump. But I sure as hell know, if he'd have jumped before having a clean 100% case, it could have been thrown out. And that would have looked even worse.

The only GD reason 🤮 has control over Republicans, is because of the voter base he's established by using his hate filled rhetoric. He's seen that there are a large swath of Americans that are, disenchanted with certain things. Immigrant influx, prices and whatever else many are thinking. He's like that himself, so it's easy for him to connect with people who are, i guess, gullible enough to think a millionaire, can be one of the boys. All ya need to do is listen to them give their reasons why they respond to him. Cause he talks like me. That's their answers. Most politicians talk high brow. 🤮, talks laymen. They like that. And, I guess thats a popular trait for millions of Americans. We're not all college grad, literature majors. We understand straight talk. Oh, don't get me wrong. I know 🤮s full of crap. But there are millions of voters, who are just fine with his trash talk. But I'll guarantee you. If 🤮, tries to pull a third term, someone like Obama could put him down, big. It may, come to something like that, to push out the dynasty thing. We'll definitely need a revamp of things, after this 🤮 term ends. And in all honesty, I'm getting a little skeptical of the mid terms in '26. The way he's twisting everything to benefit him. Even if we have midterms. Unless he's truly unapproved of many of his own voters and Dems do what they did last year. He may hold the Senate and House.
