  1. You are so correct. But when u become a government employee, whether a soldier or a member of congress, you take an oath. And part of the oath is that your speech is or can be confined to positive US, verbiage. When you are a sworn government officer, you're restrained from spouting anti American comments. Sorry folks but there's a difference between being a citizen, and a citizen in a position of power in the US government. Obviously the rule isn't always strictly enforced but as they say, ignorance of the law is no excuse.
