  1. Hell, there are people, especially in the new trump cult, who have actually said, " maybe we should have a dictatorship, to force ...the people into one mindset." They actually think we need a strong authority figure, to take charge with everything. In order to MAKE, things happen. Not allow them to evolve.

  2. Though I m not disagreeing with your thoughts on djt. The analysis of the south during the decision to not want to live under the thumb of a single minded government, seems questionable. Think about it. Ukraine once was part of Russia, right? Or at least be part of the Russian group. They decided to break and become their own government. How is that different than the so-called, South. As for production in those days. Everything was done by people. There weren't machines that made everything. So, it seems, the thing on the minds of the so-called, North. Was regaining all those states that decided to secede from the main body. That was a lot of the working people, who make up all that labor. Anyway. I believe freeing slaves, was primarily an excuse to justify a huge battle. Killing millions. Stealing land and property. But that's just my thoughts.
